My name is Miki Johnston. By being here, you’ve already taken the courageous first step to seeking professional help. There is a time in everyone’s life when we need someone non-judgmental to challenge us to take an honest look at ourselves. Before getting to this point, most of us try to solve our problems on our own, thinking that “going to therapy” is a sign of weakness. In truth, being able to ask for help is an indication of strength and courage. Even those who appear strongest have internal battles they are struggling to resolve. If you or your teen have been feeling anxious, sad, angry, inadequate or frustrated and these emotions are affecting your relationships, ability to focus and or your overall success in school or at work, I can offer you the support you’re looking for.

Whether your struggles are situational or rooted in your past, change is possible! Using more than 25 years of diverse experience in a variety of therapeutic settings I will help you explore, understand and change the behaviors and thought patterns that are getting in the way of you and or your teen’s well being.

My greatest passion is instilling hope and empowering my clients to navigate life’s inevitable obstacles. Through a collaborative process aimed at meeting your specific needs, I can help you learn the healthy coping tools you need to establish a greater sense of personal understanding, resilience, and fulfillment.

I am ready to listen to your story.
